“Bloom where you are planted.” That is exactly what Barbara and her family did over the last 21 years through service in the military, connecting military spouses and veterans to amazing resources, and treating every opportunity like an adventure.

Barbara and her husband have been married for 21 years. They have moved 8 times including twice to Hawaii, once to Berlin, Germany, and once to Okinawa, Japan. Barbara’s husband has been serving in the active-duty Navy for over 20 years. They have 3 children who have attended International schools, DODEA schools, and American public and private schools. They have traveled extensively through the USA, Japan, and Europe to include Poland, Romania, Croatia, England, Italy, Spain, Sweden, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Malta.

Barbara is a Social Media Coordinator, Content Developer, and Community Director. She has worked in the military space for the past 9 years. She has worked for MilitaryOneClick–now MilSpouseFest, Hirepurpose, and Patriot Boot Camp. Barbara currently works for Internet Strategy Labs as the Social Media Manager. She has a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Otterbein University. In her free time, you can find Barbara walking the sunny beaches, playing board games with her family, or baking treats for her children.
